Muir Woods

Muir Woods is a National Monument. This is actually a forest on the shores of pacific sea having huge redwood trees. This has some walking trails of 1 or 1.5 hours where you can see the inside of the forest. But we could not see the forest of redwood trees as we were bit late to reach there. This Muir Woods and some beaches are in Mill Valley.

After the experience at Golden Gate Bridge, we thought that we can not get any other experience which can make us spellbound. But the Muir Beach experience proved us wrong. The road to Mill Valley goes up and down the hill. And for all the way we were having a very thick fog, makeing it impossible to sea ahead much. So we had to be very careful and slow while driving there. As we were too late to take Walking trails we decided to go to some beach just to see the sea.

When we reached the parking at the beach, we were able to hear the roars of sea, but could not see it. So we thought sea must be much away from the parking. But to our surprise it was very near to the parking. But the fog has totally covered the sea. The fog was so thick that if there would have any big ship just 200-250 feet from the shores in the sea, we couldn't have seen it. Only upto 150-200 feet of the sea was visible.  We didn't even thought of touching the water. It should be too freezing.

This man was going to get married in a weeks time. So his friends have buried him in the sand, just to let him know that this is how you will feel when you are married :-))))

Hum Hai Kamaal Ke :-))) Look how far the sea is visible

Here it is more clear. Just happy to "see the sea" or "not see the real sea" ;-))

Really out of world experience
(And just to note, I look smart without my goggles also :-)))
